As advertised in Decorative Painter Magazine
Nancy Bateman, CDA, has been painting for more than 25 years and is recognized for her heirloom quality oil painting on antique tin ware, which she sells under the name Nancy’s Fancy’s. Her blended Penn Dutch style has been influenced by the work of the late Joan Johnson, who was a founding member of the Society of Decorative Painters. For the last ten years, Nancy has displayed and sold her art at the Heart of Ohio Tole (HOOT) Convention held annually in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy has been privileged to have her items represented for sale at the Decorative Arts Collection Exhibit at the National Convention. Nancy has contributed numerous times to national magazines such as the National Society of Decorative Painters (NSDP). Nancy has also served on the advisory board for The Decorative Painter magazine and was the featured artist in the March/April 2002 issue. Featured in this issue (shown on cover at left) is a small metal Meal Bin showing Nancy's Penn-Dutch style. This issue highlights her antiquing tricks and her Heart-on-Heart; Tulip and Sectioned Flower designs. |
